  • The London courses are based on real-life practicum exercises. There will be two sessions each day beginning with a short lecture/presentation by U.S. and British faculty.
  • Classes are held at the University of Malta's Foundation for International Studies in Valletta. All courses are taught in English and, with the exception of the internship, will be graded on the basis of a written final examination comparable to law exams administered in American Bar Association approved law schools.
  • Taught by experts in the field from Ireland and the United States, the six-week program focuses on courses related to international and comparative human rights law and accountability for human rights violations.
  • This course presents an introductory overview of basic principles of intellectual property law and includes copyright, patent, trade secret, and trademark fundamentals. No technical background of any kind is assumed or even particularly helpful. Students will examine the basis for intellectual property generally and the ongoing efforts by governments to balance the needs of owners and users.
  • In Santiago, a city of more than six million people, students will experience the reform process first-hand with leaders from the legal sector, including human rights advocates, senior police officials, and Supreme Court judges.
  • Students will pre-select a course schedule from the course offerings at Leiden, subject to approval by the academic dean at their home school. Courses must be law-related cognate courses offered for credit in the Leiden law program.
  • The University of Aarhus is the second oldest and second largest university in Denmark. It has formal co-operation agreements with more than 260 educational institutions in Europe alone, and is in contact with approximately 500 institutions worldwide.
